Hands down the best, nicest and most professional mechanic ever. Cant thank you enough for helping me today. I was stuck and I really needed some help with my car. Didn’t have to wait long, he came right out and helped my car start and put a new battery in. I highly recommend using this mechanic If you are having any car issues. Also a reasonable price Thanks again!

We sent Pete a text late on a Sunday night (based on feedback from the UGA Parent FB Page) when our son returned from break to a dead battery in his vehicle. He was on location by noon the next morning and called us with a diagnosis- the car needed a new battery and auxillary battery. He had it taken care of in a jiffy and called/sent texts throughout the whole process as we are states away. He was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend his services. It was great knowing that even though we couldn't be there, someone knowledgable and reliable could give our son a hand.

Avoid this mechanic at all costs. He will say whatever it takes to get you to bring your car to him. Once that happens, the focus shifts to getting as much money from you as possible, even without doing the work. In my case, he claimed he could fix my car and asked for a down payment to order a part. That part was never ordered, and he has since stopped responding to my calls and messages. The experience has been extremely disappointing. What makes this worse is that I had already seen reviews describing similar behavior, but I ignored them because his shop was close to me. That was a mistake. He is rarely at the workshop and instead leaves two employees who do nothing but tell you to “call Pete,” even when he doesn't answers. If you want to avoid stress, wasted time, and lost money, think twice before using this mechanic. Based on my experience, he is unreliable and far more interested in taking money than actually fixing cars. Save yourself the hassle and find a trustworthy mechanic elsewhere.

My husband’s truck was leaking oil and the Ford dealership quoted us an extremely high price. Pete was outstanding. He was honest, fairly priced, and did excellent work. We’re so glad we found him and will definitely be coming back.

I visited Pete Auto Shop because I walked out to get into my truck for work and heard it turn over, but it wouldn’t start. Since I had no knowledge of cars, I called my insurance company and asked them to give me a jump start. They informed me that my bolt needed to be tightened by my battery (the small round screw-like thing). They tightened it, and I took it to Pete’s shop. A few hours later, they called me and said, “Hey, your truck is good to go. There’s no light or anything. Oh, and you owe us nothing.” I was amazed! It was a blessing. If I could, I would give Pete Auto Shop a thousand stars. They are incredibly honest and trustworthy. I love that about them. When in doubt, take your car to Pete Auto Shop. I can’t stress enough how hard it is to find trustworthy and reliable mechanics. Pete Auto Shop always does the job right and is very transparent about their services. So, yes, I had to write a review because they told me that tightening the bolt was all it needed. And guess what? I even took my truck on a 13-hour road trip to Wisconsin, and I had no problems on the way there or back.
